He Definately Has Not Played Up To His Potential.WAS A Way Better Player Last Year.Think He Is Trying To Hard,Maybe Trying To Fill "AJS" Shoes,WHICH Would Be Almost Impossible.Just Take It Easy Brock And Play Your Game,Things Will Fall Into Place.

who said that Hunter was the star defensman?? He didn't play defense at all last year in the last month or so. He has skills but lacks experience at this point and needs to make better decisions on ice. He gets burned too often trying to make a low percentage play. He needs to simplify his game, play defense first, move the puck quickly and with authority; then the offense will take care of itself. He does not have AJ's shiftiness at this point and although AJ cost us some games too, he was generally able to recover from his errors often. Brock has to work on shutting down the other team before he gets into offensive mode but hopefully if the team starts winning he will come around.

Good point old feller
He needs to start taking the man instead of playing the puck
coaching needs to take a look at moving him up to forward

I don't know about the forward thing, when he played there last year he seemed lost and really didn't contribute anything but maybe with some tutoring. He wouldn't be the first d-man who switched to forward and we could use some more toughness up front??

Hunter has neither the wheels or skills of AJ so he should stop trying to be anything but a stay at home D man. He coughs up the puck more than a cat with a hairball!
