:confused: The Ref did his best to be part of the game, hmm it seems I have to brush up on these new rules they are enforcing....let me see hit the boards with body too hard 2 min, attemp to chase player to net 2 min, put puck in net running through goalie OK...yea I think I am slowly getting the rules...:D

I actually got a chance to watch the Barons/Bonny game tonight... and wow... what a parade to the box... most of them were well deserved though, under the new rules... oh well...Barons managed to kill all 13 PP attempts Bonnyville had...

Summary
- Klassen goal, nice tic tac toe play... beat the goal blocker side... goalie would of had it easily if he wasn't a right hand glove
-Jordon Fuder (i was told) makes a big hit on one of our d-man... didn't really see the play or who the mob was... kinda scary seeing the mob guy trying to get up dazed and confused falling over like 3 times...definately concussed..but stayed in the game after a few mins on the bench
-Shortly thereafter, faceoff in the MOB zone, Klassen and Fuder are the centermans... as soon as the puck drops, the gloves and sticks fly... Fuder tries to take of his helmet but can't, they both skate to center ice before they even touch each other.. Fuder gets a nice punch in, but than Klassen :eek: , nails Fuder right in the face... blood gushes out immediately, but Fuder only falls to one knee and decides to get back up, so Klassen connects on another headshot, and Fuder goes down hard.. blood everywhere, after he gets up, you could see like his nose where is check would be....definately broken.. he looked in so much pain... and to make matters worst, he got the gross misconduct plus 5 for fighting, while Klassen just got the 5... crowed was roaring after that fight....
-The two Bonny goals in the first were both on deflections...not much Reid could do with that...
-Fontaine scored one on a bad rebound by Reid than Helfrich answered back on the PP from the point (the mob had 5 forwards on the PP) :confused:
-Fontaine added another highlight reel goal, deeking out both d-man and squeezing it through Reid's legs while falling down.. it was nice i must admit.. Perry jammed one in late in the second
-Upshall tied it in the 3rd, just to have Gerhardt make it 5-4 yaks 3 mins later.. there were 2 Pontiacs in front of the net, while both rookie mob d-man (johnsson and steedsman) were chasing isley behind the net
-Barons had alot of chances late in the game, but couldn't finish... can't believe they lost... the yaks goalie, Colton Lewis looked really shaky, couldn't catch a thing ... and on one play, with about 10 secs left in the second, bonny has a 5-3 pp, the barons ice it, but Lewis decides to pass it right back up, only to have Johnsson intercept it at the MOB blue line, he wrists the puck right away, and Lewis just got his paddle down diving half way accross the ice (like that one Patrick Roy save) to save an embarssement

It was actually Gialet that almost put it into the wide open cage as the second period was about to expire. That would have been sweet.
