Heard from a very close source the Storm are looking for one more rock on defence to really make a run at it this year, Brock Michalsky is the guy they are after and from what i was told they offered Mike Painchaud and Kyle Macdonald , and cash , seems like a big offer for one player , Although Michalsky is a top end defenceman in this league.

I can think of a different player for a possible trade but then there has to be some interest on the other end.
Here's to hoping that your sources are wrong.

Well i hope it doesnt work out either because i know all those players like where they are right now , but remember it is a business and to put the best team on the ice is there the coaches and managers job . That is a trade where both teams get alot .

Can't see this happening as Brock has spent almost five great years in Canmore and only needs a few more games to become the Eagle leader in games played which is currently held by Mark Bomersback with 250. He has lived with the same billet his whole Eagle career and that's not about to change. Coach Miller would be strung up on main street if this happened and he is far to young for that.

I cant see Miller going through with that either but maybe Brock wants a chance at a title this year .

Then maybe he should fire up his team instead of trying to ride the coattails of a different team.

Rather than name players I will say that I see little use for the "goon" type players. If your on the team just to fight then I say pack your bags.

Not sure how the goon style player is involved in this post as that is certainly not the way BrocK plays nor has he in his last four years. I think there are some players that value winning a championship as the ultimate and Brock probaly does also but there is no guarantee that will come this year in Grande Prairie. He is a very loyal team player and will be on the Eagles roster at the end of the year.

Never said he was. You asked who I would rather trade than the two players who were mentioned.

You need to responde with a player then not say a goon , why would canmore want a goon .

Read the second half of the first sentence in post number 2 in this thread. I said that there had to be some interest on the other end not that there is:rolleyes:.

Knowing that some players also read this site, I am trying not to name names. Those who fit this style of play know they do. I have no power to change these players, I can only vent my frustrations and hope that the players (on all teams hopefully) will stop the unnessesary fighting and play hockey.
