Barons picked up a 20 year old goalie from Manitoba. Just got into town today. Good luck to him!!

Barons also let Ryan Lafferty go.

Why wasn't Dainton playing on the weekend? Looks like the MOB could have used him. The last thing they need is to lose more games.

Why isn't he on the roster is a better question. Neither one of the new players is on the barons roster. Are they going to report? :confused:

That is kind of strange considering Chad Fox is already on the Royals roster.
Maybe there was a hiccup with the transfer of Dainton from BC to Alberta????

During Saturday's broadcast Nolan said that Dainton had arrived but had just flew in that day so Gord thought it would be unfair to play him after a long flight. However it does sound like Chalifoux is pretty good for a 17 year old.

Chad Fox was traded to the Royals for hometown boy Justin Cormier, who was also a MOB back in the day.

What I find strange is that, on the MOB's player list, they have 16 forwards and only 4 d-man... :confused: ...and 2 goalies of course
