Storm win 6 - 3.
After a very shaky first period (trailing 3 - 1 and outshot 14 - 5) the Storm turned on the afterburners and swept over the Bobcats. After scoring as many goals in the second as the Bobcats had shots (2), the Storm continued into the third with three more (one empty net) to seal the deal.
Again the ref was trying to be a deciding factor with inconsitant and even missed calls for both teams (love to know how Zaun recieved five for fighting and a game misconduct when he was jumped from behind, fell to the ice<turtuled> while retaining his gloves and stick <ok, the game was probley for asking the ref WTF>)
Great way to go into the Christmas break, next stop the dreaded MOB on the 30th and 31st.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Just read the official timesheet on the AJHL site and the penalty to Zahn has been changed to 5 for interference (guess he was suppose to fight but when he didn't he "interfered" with Bjorge's swinging at the air:rolleyes:).
Did notice that there was a Bobcat lying near the Bobcat's bench, twenty feet from where the fight was, must have been the penalty.

What a surprise, you saw Bjorge jumping someone but didn't see what happened or why a Bobcat player was lying on the ice 20 feet away. He must have fell down or was having a rest. A GP player probably had nothing to do with it.

I don't know how good your seats are but even though I have one of the best seats in the arena, I still can't see the hits against the boards on my side of the rink.:p . Sure, I can see the players skating towards the boards, I can see the boards and glass shake from a good clean take-out along the boards, but I can't see when a player is skating along side the boards when the players are standing on the bench ready to come on, fans are jumping out of their seats in excitment, and I'm turning my head to see whats happening on another part of the ice that looks like it might develope into something more interesting. Forgive me for not seeing a play away from the puck (or it wouldn't have been interference).
